Ryan SHIOTANI

SVP, Content, Asia, BBC Studios

Ryan Shiotani is Senior Vice President, Content, Asia for BBC Studios. He leads the region’s content direction as BBC Studios explores new partnerships and platforms. He is the regional editorial lead across existing and new branded services, as well as advising on brand and content strategy, including Asian co-productions. Ryan joined BBC Studios(then BBC Worldwide) in 2007 and has led the editorial strategy for brands including BBC Earth, BBC Lifestyle, BBC Kids, and BBC Player across linear and digital platforms in Asia. He works closely with Sony BBC Earth, BBC Studios’ joint venture with Sony Pictures Networks India. Prior to joining BBC Studios, Ryan worked across programming, content acquisitions, content sales and production in Asia, Latin America, Europe and North America for Discovery Networks Latin America/Iberia, Sesame Workshop, MTM Entertainment and TV Globo.

Dr. Chanthaphat KHAMKHOKGRUAD

Principal Policy and Planning Expert, Acting Deputy Secretary General,
The Office of National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission(NBTC)

Dr. Chanthaphat Khamkhokgruad currently serves as the Principal Policy and Planning Expert Acting Deputy Secretary General at The Office of National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission(NBTC). At the NBTC, he previously served as the Director of the Supply and Asset Management Bureau for 7.5 years and Director of the General Administration Bureau for 1.5 years. Before joining the NBTC, he was a Senior Legal Officer at the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand for 12 years. Dr. Chanthaphat holds a Doctor of Philosophy(Ph.D.), a Master of Laws(LL.M.), and a Bachelor of Laws(LL.B.), all from Ramkhamhaeng University. He also completed the National Defence College(NDC) course(Class 64) and qualified as a Barrister-at-Law.

Baigal NASANBAT

Director of the Programming Policy and Regulation Department,
Mongolian National Broadcaster(MNB)

Baigal Nasanbat is a television and film director with a Master of Ails in Arts Studies from the Mongolian University of Arts and Culture. She completed her undergraduate studies in television and film directing in 1998, and studied television, film, and theatre studies at Beijing Drama School in 2003. She began her directing career in 2004 and has held leadership roles at Mongolian National Public Television(MNT) since 2005, including artistic director and chief director. In 2020 she became the Director of the Family Channel at MNT, in 2022 she served as Acting Director of Channel 1, and since 2024 she has been the Head of the Programming Policy and Regulation Department at MNT.

Alex Reza Shariman OTHMAN

Director of TV Program, Radio Televisyen Malaysia(RTM)

Alex Reza Shariman Othman is the Director of TV Program and Acting Director of Strategic Developmentat Radio Televisyen Malaysia(RTM), Malaysia. With nearly three decades of experience in broadcasting, Alex began his career as an intern at RTM’s TV Entertainment Unit and has since produced, managed, and led numerous entertainments, cultural, and international television programs. An alumnus of Universiti Teknologi MARA in Broadcasting and Universiti Sains Malaysia with a Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communication, Reza has represented Malaysia in key ASEAN, ABU, and AIBD forums, strengthening regional cooperation in media and communication. Recognized for his leadership and creative direction, he continues to oversee RTM’s programming, content strategy, and international partnerships. Outside of broadcasting, Reza’s passions include classical music, opera, literature, culture, and art films.

CHO Sean

Executive Vice President(Head of Global Business Division), CJ ENM

Sean Cho is the Head of the Global Business Division at CJ ENM. Appointed to this role in May 2024, Mr. Cho oversees Fifth Season in the U.S. and other CJ ENM Entertainment subsidiaries in the U.S., Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Thailand. He is responsible for shaping the global growth strategy of CJ's entertainment business, including acquiring and partnering with global studios and establishing collaborations with governments and companies, such as hosting KCON in multiple countries. Before his current position, Mr. Cho led film investments and productions as well as global strategic planning in the Entertainment Business Unit of CJ ENM. During his time at CJ Corporation, he focused on future strategy and global business, driving the global expansion of CJ's culture business through the promotion of K-culture.

LEE Sang Wook

Team Leader of AIXR Content, MBC C&I

Lee Sang Wook is the head of AI Content lab and AIXR Content Team Leader of MBC C&I, also a visiting professor of department of AI·Immersive Media Content Interdisciplinary Program at Hongik University Graduate School. MBC C&I AI Content Lab was launched in 2024 and has produced various award-winning AI films in AI Film Festivals. Also it leads commercialization of AI specific services and plays a leading role in the broadcasting and video industry.

CHOI Jae Ju

Team Leader of AI PLUS TEAM, EBS

Choi Jae Ju graduated from Jeonbuk National University in 2002 and earned a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Hanyang University Graduate School in 2008. He joined EBS in 2006 as an IT developer, where he built e-Learning systems and managed services for ‘Suneung lectures’. In 2013, he received the Minister of Education Award for achievements in educational informatization. Since 2021, he has been responsible for ICT planning and production, creating AR/VR content linked to broadcast programs and multi-space experience content. Most recently, he planned and produced the ‘EBS AI Short Theater’, which premiered in June, and is currently engaged in AI service planning and the research and development of various broadcasting formats.

Lee JooHee

Technical Supervisor of Post production Technology 1, KBS

Lee Joo-hee graduated from Seoul National University of Science and Technology with a major in Electronic IT Media Engineering in 2012. He joined the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) in 2014 as a Broadcast Technology Director and began his broadcast technology work at a VR virtual studio. Starting with "Imjin War 1592," he has planned and designed large-scale VFX for major KBS documentary and drama productions including "Mad Dog," "Hwarang," and "Are You Human?" Currently, he serves as a Technical Supervisor in the Post-production Department, where he is involved in VFX production for large-scale documentary and historical drama productions utilizing AI technology.

KIM Taesu

CEO, Neosapience, Inc.

Kim Taesu is an innovator and entrepreneur recognized for his leadership in machine learning–based speech and audio synthesis. Since founding Neosapience in 2017, he has advanced technologies that enable emotionally expressive audio and video generation for the media and entertainment industry. Recently, the company has expanded beyond content generation into interactive media, applying conversational AI technologies to create new forms of audience engagement. He holds a BS degree in EECS from Hanyang University, and MS and Ph.D. degrees in Machine Learning from KAIST. Before founding Neosapience, he served as a technical leader at Qualcomm and LG Electronics, developing speech recognition, sound classification, and audio enhancement technologies. With over 20 years of experience in machine learning, he continues to drive the company’s vision of inventing the future of Creativity with AI.

Professor, Department of Global Culture Industry, Soonchunhyang University

Mr. Kyu Tae Kwak is a professor in the Department of Global Cultural Industry at Soonchunhyang University and holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Yonsei University. He has held professional positions at the Korea Broadcasting Institute(KBI) and the Korea Creative Content Agency(KOCCA). Currently, he serves as a board member of the Korean Association for Broadcasting & Telecommunication Studies, the Korea Media Management Association, the Korea Culture & Tourism Institute, and the Kakao Creative Foundation. His research focuses on the content industry, media management and economics, and platform business.

YOON Jong Se

Director of Policy & External Relations, SBS

Jongse Yoon majored in Russian Language and Literature and Public Administration at Korea University and earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Graduate School of Public Administration at Seoul National University. He joined SBS in 2008, where he worked on broadcasting policy. Starting in 2015, he took charge of platform strategy and business development. In 2016, he established KCP (Korea Content Platform, now known as Wavve Americas), a joint venture created by Korea’s three major broadcasters to provide OTT services in North & South America, and served as its COO from 2017 to 2019, during which he operated the KOCOWA service. After returning to SBS in 2019, he managed domestic and international content distribution until 2024.

SEO Hye Jin

CEO, CReA STUDIO

Seo Hye Jin graduated from the Department of Sociology at Ewha Womans University in 1993. She earned her Master’s degree in Organizational Sociology from the same university in 1995, and later completed her Ph.D. in Organizational Sociology in 2016. She began her broadcasting career at SBS in 1997. In 2018, she joined TV Chosun as Head of Production, and in 2022, she established CreA Studio.

Marianne LEE

Chief Content Officer, Viu PCCW Media

Marianne is a content professional with a career built around fan generation. She has held senior leadership positions in both content and marketing. Currently, Marianne is the Chief Content Officer at Viu, PCCW’s leading pan-regional over-the-top(OTT) video streaming service, available in 16 markets across Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa. She leads a team of content professionals in production, acquisition and curation, driving the overall content strategy to deliver cross-market business objectives. Before Viu, she had worked for major US media brands and a free TV broadcaster based in Hong Kong.

JIN Guang Guo

CEO, Waga Inc.

Jin Guang Guo studied in Japan in 1997 and earned his Master’s degree in Commerce from Chuo University in 2005. He began his career at a leading Japanese content company, where he served as Executive Producer for the Japan–China co-production project “Anime Three Kingdoms”. Later, he founded Waga Japan in Tokyo and subsequently established Waga China in Beijing in 2011, focusing on content production, licensing, and investment. In 2019, he expanded into the webtoon industry, and in 2024, he entered the short drama sector, continuing to broaden his influence across diverse media fields.
